Thank you again, that’s kind of you , at least here we have some peace from the haters . That is the only reason I started the channel, for our community and nothing else .
Thank you TOM , I don’t post on Facebook group , I would need to setup a new account for that anyway , there are other websites that offers video uploads. If YouTube do it again I will switch .
They just sent warning and said next time my account will lose the privilege to do anything , no uploads no live streams etc … without explanation. I will write back and find out . Thank you Tom
Chat with Amazon is usually effective at getting to the right people (it might take a few levels of passing you around) AND since they do good tracking might be able to banish the user doing it.
Sorry for going back to earlier posts on SLA resin, but thought this was relevant.
Just saw this rather good article on SLA resin safety:
New to me was that even cured resin can still be hazardous to handle (for some brands).
Amazon did not even reply to my email , I tried with chat and they said I broke the guidelines and nothing they can do about .
By breaking the guidelines they accused me to post fake review / being paid for doing so, including suspicious activity .
I was top 900 reviewer on Amazon and Top contributor in Photography , customer since 1998 and one review ruined my account.
They will not restore it and already removed every review I ever posted in the past .
I saw the other day someone posted in the forum about Revopoint giving gifts for customers for posting positive rating and reviews on Amazon . That explains everything , someone reported it to Amazon for sure and flagged my review. Haters gonna hate , they feeds on negativity after all .
The only difference is that I paid for the product that I reviewed on Amazon , but they don’t care . I am just so disappointed with this trolls witch hunt , that’s all .
Time to make lemonade from all the lemons
Tough to do when the water is poisoned. Very very sad.
It is , but giving up would be just exactly what they want . Not giving nobody satisfaction. It is like with the dog, he don’t eat the bone but don’t allows others to enjoy it either.
Thanks Tom, as @TinWhisperer said already , Fork them all
I read it Barry , I also saw the guy that got chemically burned from the resin .
I follow the news on the Prusa Community website as well.
When I see the all guys handling it without gloves it makes me cringe.
They are careful until one day they make mistake , handling it after washing without gloves , so called YT experts.
I am dealing with chemicals from acrylic castings process that are bad and some very poisonous. Always following the safety regulations. I don’t take a chance .
This situation very clearly argues in favor of fora like this as a source of reliable information. The moderators know who the contributors are and will deal with hateful, vindictive people properly.
I’ve been a moderator and have removed people from the member list due to bad or hateful behavior.
Now if the fora could host something like youtube videos, we’d be all set!
Here is the removed video edited .
just in case someone miss it … here is the new version
No links or other endorsements lol
that was my best video actually with most views and comments … what a shame people enjoyed it , and I only had 4 dislike on 100 … shame
Please like it ! I would really apretiate it .
Thank you !
I have read elsewhere that it is very difficult to get restored on Amazon, Facebook, etc. unless you get a lawyer involved.
And emails rarely succeed, either.
Maybe I’ll stop reviewing on Amazon…
It is terrible to flag your video because you are too good at scanning.
Thanks Selina , yes it is , the appeal did not worked , they confirmed it violates the guide and don’t makes YouTube a safe place for others
Zero explanations why and what as usual .
You may replace the old video on KS with the new one I posted yesterday if you like , as the other is removed .
Haha, don’t give in to this insane audit system!
Sure. I will check out the new video. My colleague in charge shall replace it soon. Thanks!
Do you know if you can simplify the scan? because my scan is to big for fusion and it keeps crashing
I use Elegoo Mars Pro 2 for printing jewelry. Up to 14 rings I was able to print in once.
I use different resins:
-
water washable from Elegoo, works really nice. Need to be washed and UV-lightened afterwords.
-
For this I have Wash-curing station from Elegoo, works also nice. From the prints you can make a silicon form for wax casting.
-
another resin is for direct cast, POWER RESINS OPAQUE. it´s a kind of wax-polymer which burns out really well for metal casting. It has to be washed with ethanol and need no UV light afterwords. It´s quite expensive, around 350 € a litre. If you calculate it, it´s around 1-3 € for a good wax model of a ring for cast. In relation to other methods to get a good wax model for silver casting for me totally ok.
I had printed and then casted from my local foundry around 30 rings and all went well.
The lines from the layers of the printer are with the most rings not visible or can be polished away easily. The visible lines also depends on how you have positioned the model in the slicer. If you have an real low angle it can make the lines more visible. Similar to FDM printers but in a different scale. I used it for some rings as a nice texture.
I also recommand Lychee Slicer for use with resin printer instead of Chitubox which comes with a lot of cheaper printers.
You can simplify it in Revo Studio to the size you like, it actually do a good job .
Mesh it in Revo Scan , export and in Revo Studio use the Simplify function .
Thank you @Skyrider , I am still searching , you see the line steps are my issue here.
I checked yesterday the Phrozen 8K MINI , I think it delivers what I was looking for regarding the fine quality of prints.
I talked to Elegoo regarding Saturn 2 , they wanted to make for me test print with my sample for evaluation .
But I think the Phrozen 8K Mini can provide me with the resolution I need.
I know I can polish away the lines , but that is exactly what I want to avoid to minimum . That is the reason I want the printer in first place to skip the part to minimum.
Even with the Elegoo Mars Pro2 you can get less layer lines. I used 0,05 mm for layer thickness. You can go down to 0,01mm but then have approx. 5 times longer printing time.
4K or 8K doesn´t matter in this case because the lines comes from the layer height not resolution of the screen. Here is a link with comparison with different layer heights, he also provides some pictures where you can see the difference and time difference for printing:
https://www.reddit.com/r/ElegooMars/comments/dg3l50/elegoo_mars_print_examples/
And with 0,01 mm you barely see any lines.
0,01mm layer thickness
But as i wrote before it is quick polished away in some minutes and mostly even with my settings barely noticable without extra polish.
