Noobie to 3d scanning.
Have been playing with iPhone as scanner then editing in Blender. Now ready to move up to a more “professional” HW platform.
Wanting to do small parts, knobs, buttons, home switch face plates, etc, scanning and 3d print reproduction. Will use turntable most of time. Will also want to scan persons from shoulders up. Not whole body.
My budget brings me to either the Pop3 or the Mini2 to be used with 13" iPad Pro M4 for capture then move everything to Mac Studio for final edits and conversions.
Your pointers, opinions, and thoughts welcomed and appreciated.
It is a great allround 3d scanner which will suit your needs well. Very good detail reproduction , especially with its zoom feature (Pop3 PLUS version), good FOV for bigger items incl scanning persons.

There are plenty scanning examples for both scanner on this forum. Take your time and explore them.
