First impressions

Quite a capable scanner, light, easy to carry and to use.

It does not have the punch when it comes to texture and scan range like the POP3 does, yet it is very usable and makes up for the loss in texture quality and scanning distance by being very portable, agile and light weight. Personally i just carry it in a small zipper bag inside my dayly bag and use it wherever i go now.

Considering it should cost a lot less than POP3 it is a great entry scanner for all of those that want to wet their feet into real structured scanning and also for the veterans out there that want a cheap throw-in-the-bag-carry-around scanner for quick and almost stealth scanning

At this closeup level texture is useless camera is too out of focus to be of any use

Dimensional accuracy check

In general the dimensions are good for a object that is way off the recommended scan size.

I am surprised by the accuracy , I expected less than that , not bad .
Did you scan in Standard mode at minimum distance ?

Feature scan for the shape and texture

Same scan but blinking frames removed from the raw capture

Using my Revoscan Frame Player (Flayer) i manually marked the frames where the model was blinking and flagged them for removal as described in this post > here <

What a cute doll face !
Can’t wait for the white balance to be manual so I can use my own LED attachment for scanning bigger objects in color , the team working on it already . finger crossed :crossed_fingers:

Model was exported out of Revoscan, and mesh was clenup and filled on meshmixer without changing the original coordinates.

Model was then pasted over the meshed model in the scan cache folder, project opened and texture was projected inside Revostudio

As always, video is private

Quick (60s) mold scan to be referenced as stock for remachining

The fusing and meshing took way longer than the scan itself
