I think some sort of future addon for the MetroX to give it wireless capability would be a welcome feature quite a few of us would be willing to pay for.
Not specifically a scan to phone setup but a wireless connection to a PC with potentially a screen mirror app on a phone.
Just a thought!
competitor just came out with their Scan Bridge. Something like that would be great for the MetroX. I would have to think it’s not far behind the release.
I tried to use raspberries pi5 Setup wireless USB Hub and connect MetroX, it’s work but i have no idea to solve power issues XD
did you use only an USB Cable without 12V connection? Maybe you can try original cable first for POC then investigate how to power device.
I already used original cable, it’s have some data delay but work and i don’t know MetroX support power delivery or not
I would assume, that PD is not supported by MetroX. Unfortunately… But you may can use a fixed PD delivery USB-C cable to provide 12V to the barrel connector.
