Hi,

Thrilled of this scanner… I’ve been doing fun things with it.

Can someone explain to me what the WIFI claims are about? Can I connect to it another way than using the cable? The official website says its some iOS connection which is a bit strange to me.

Why iOS? If it’s on iOS can we get the same on android? Historically I’ve never owned a Apple product; only android. Heck I even opt to root mobile devices from the Google stuff.

I’m just under some idea that maybe there’s a battery in the scanner and it has some ability to be used without the cable?

It is just a network connection but only between your computer and the scanner .

Connect your scanner to a power bank or charger then go into WiFi setting and look for Revipoint network , you can connect and use it without cable also on android
