Anyone else have their USB Port break off inside their miraco only a year old hardly used cause I haven’t had this thing actually be that great for the money spent on this thing and then trying to contact customer support has been total bs

I have MIRACO Pro and Plus and no issues with my USB port . Not seeing anybody else having their port break off either since the release.
You still have warranty so I don’t see issues here.
How long does the warranty last cause I bought it last in April. Used it on a few projects and played with it like 30times. I try to call and chat with the live chat options on their website support. That was awful service. Couldn’t get a hold of anyone so I thought I’d ask on here. Usb port is still there but it acts as if it broke from the board. I’ve never bent the charger while plugged in I don’t know if it’s from pushing too hard or what but I noticed it wasn’t making that click feeling whenever you know it’s in there correctly
Ok update: sent the email yesterday and their team got back with me very quickly! They’re going to swap me out scanners so that’s awesome of them. I was going to delete this thread for their generosity, but instead I just wanted to tell everyone they honor their product. I have to send the broken one back of course. That’s after I receive the replacement then get a return label as well. Thank you so much revo
It is always better to write direct to customer@revopoint3d.com with technical issues . @Revopoint-Gloria let them know about it directly so glad you got replacement.
If I good remember the warranty is 2 years.
Make sure you send it back ASAP once you get the label , after follow the tracking , once it arrives back remind the support about to speed up the replacement.
Hey I want to give a special thanks to the email team on revopoint for their fast response and getting me a replacement unit. I did misunderstood the returning process though. Usually I’m use to receiving the new product with a return label in the box so all I have to do is drop off the package. I did wonder when the unit was going to show up and why ups was knocking on my door as I did not see the email sent after our discussion for the request you enter for the old unit which ups couldn’t tell me what they was there to grab. I was afraid to assume it was for the unit and end up giving your product to the wrong company since I was going through a return situation with Amazon over a item from China never showing up. So I do promise to send back the old one soon as I get a free chance to stop in an ups store during my work week. I’m not sure what happen to the old usb port maybe it was fluke cause I’m super gentle with this thing and pretty heart broken when it pushed through. Then when I attempted the website support option I thought oh here we go now, but your team has been more than helpful and wonderful at making sure I was taking great care of. I would most likely buy from revo again and recommend anyone interested in their product that you are in good hands with them. I can’t wait to use this some more, hopefully I can get better using cad so I can take my scans to the next level with my 3d printers
