I have a question for the experts:
I have to scan a vase:
I scanned the outside and the bottom
I scanned the edge (for the thickness of the vase)
I DID NOT scan the inside
is revoscan able to create the “hole” and not simply fill it completely based on the scans made?
(the vase is very deep and the scan does not reach the bottom)

The software don’t fill anything unless you want it too
Just don’t use the option to close the hole , use manual fusing and meshing , however even if the hole is closed you can simple open it back using the tools on the right on the RS software.
RS is not a 3D editor so it can’t create automatic thickness, you need to finish it in your 3D modeling software what is very easy and automatic process.
