Can I get my Trackit first please? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

The price should be lower on start than metroX. There are many good competitors on the market now.

Lower than MetroX? It was already much too low to begin with considering all the modes it has.
But since there is no public info about what it will be, I think it is too early with the price guessing anyway as it may be something else than it is already on the market . Other way who will buy it beside @ivan ? :joy:

Dear Cath, as tempting as it is, unfortunately :money_bag: has run dry for another revopoint family member - for now  And my metrox and Miraco still going strong:flexed_biceps:t3:!

But I am very interested in seeing the new market disruptors  3 new scanner been introduced at once? That’s a novelty for Revopoint, right? Engineers always hard working :honeybee: !

Looking forward to the reveal!

Personally, I would prefer that there be movement not only in the field of increasing the number of models, but also in their software support… As well as its development for slightly “outdated” models like MetroX…

Hi dear Ivan , I was just kidding knowing your revopoint arsenal from the past lol

The new models are upgraded hardware versions of preview scanners .

The hardware already reached it’s maximum in older models, for that reason new hardware updates models are upgraded.

The software itself is nothing without the actual profile of each scanner hardware that runs its specific and unique program each time your connect your unique scanner.

Updating hardware on already released products is impossible , yet the manufacturer need to move forward with its production to support it’s existence on the already oversaturated market.

There are lots of things that should be updated in the software on the editing parts, hopefully upcoming updates do just that . Revopoint never stopped doing it and are already a head and a lot.

The MetroX is less than a year old I think I’m right in saying? Just my perspective having owned 3 Revopoint scanners to date. I find it unnerving for future investment when a company moves beyond new models so quickly. Especially when they and supporting software are released undercooked, meaning they only start to hit their stride with development of software and firmware. We don’t yet know what these new models are. Maybe they compliment the MetroX and aid its development . That would be positive.

If I feel my models are replaced too quickly it will impact any future purchases.

Interested to see what they are though. Appear similar to the X in the teaser pics

I don’t know yet anything exactly about the new models , so hard to tell . We will see.

I got spoiled too much with Trackit to worry about anything else at this moment.

Ok let me guess

  1. Wireless new version of MetroX 2 with more laser lines in general for faster capture :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: including color
  2. Wireless new version of MetroX 2 with only blue Full Field and Auto mode and color working also with a phone
  3. Since we had already POP3 and Mini 2, maybe improved version of Inspire 2 infrared for computer and a phone.

Don’t know anything.. pure guessing based on the images

I am so ready for no / very few markers! no more of finding loose markers in my pockets and the washing machine, and stuck to the back of work clothes ( even though they won’t stick to what you want them to) it’s like glitter

I had the weirdest feeling when scanning for the first time with Trackit, waiting for the lose of tracking but it never happened.

I had to re wire my brain in my new workflow …I hate markers so much for so many reasons ! No matter what scanner in the world .

BTW while testing the marker mode with Trackit I did not encountered any major issues or lose tracking either .

But marker-less scanning is fantastic !

I can imagine how you felt. Im waiting for being able to see the points in real time and not have that horrible anxiety about Do i have enough photos will they track do i have to spend 3 days trying to pick points. I have built massive XY cnc stage that can do 6mx3m and a portable raid drive to collect images. I just want to scan and see it now. I have some jobs that need to be done and im just trying to delay them

Yeah it is worth delaying the jobs , you going to have less frustrations with Trackit for sure, no matter what you throw on it .

Can’t wait to see your results soon !

Are these announced today? Another post said 3 days….

I’ve been wondering if it’s on the rough count of 3 days, three working days, or literally 72hrs after the post.

I may be over thinking it :rofl::rofl:

From the homepage:

There is a Metro Y PRO , too🥳

MetroY Pro is what the MetroX should have been. I’m going to sound bitter but that’s just how I feel. MetroX resale value just been halved as a result in less than a year.
