This looks really good. I’m still dialing in the scans and they are getting better.
Thanks for sharing the results.

Very useful to see those results @PUTV - especially on such a well-known and well-scanned miniature! I’m impressed with the MetroY Pro.
Please try to calibrate it , and keep the distance at excellent/good , you can even see the sharpness distance in the depth camera when setting the distance having the Mini 2 on a tripod at 45 degrees .. when scanning minis you need to capture all angles to get better the sharper edges from top and below with 360 frames on one rotation per angle , then fuse it at 0.05mm , clean lose points and overlapped points then mesh GRID at 0.05 and you should get best results .
Remember overs scanning your object will create bad results , Full Field is not a laser, it capture 8 millions of points per second so it don’t need too many frames per rotation.
That what I do ..
I did not calibrated my Mini 2 for one year , that maybe reason why it was less sharper but I will try again and see if any difference .
Thank you Tom , MetroY Pro as MetroX use a different way of scanning than Full Field when using Auto mode , it captures 3 frames with a different pattern scale , something like Artec Mini scanner I believe so it is more precise than regular Full Field or a single shot mode. It is also more stable reducing blurry frames to minimum .
The OpenScan benchy is not easy to scan because too many undercuts and the bottom disk just getting in the way , much too big sometimes I just want to cut it off lol
But it don’t have as much fine details compared to a coin what Mini 2 can handle well.
I will recalibrate my Mini 2 again and try again to see if anything improves because don’t like how the letters turned out .
But still MetroY Pro have everything as Mini 2 plus extra .
I am going to use the benchy to make comparisons of all my scanners I own , means all of them … That will give people a very good view on what expecting from specific accuracy per device.
