Just a quick demonstration of the Merge function in Revo Scan 5. This was originally for the Furniture Scan competition, but I wasn’t able to complete a color model before I left to visit my parents for the first time in 3½ years.
I did several partial scans because the large, smooth areas tended to get away from me. Selecting the Feature method, six of the eight scans and one merge of two of the scans, I let the automatic feature grind away and, in just a few minutes with a mid-range business laptop, I got a pretty good result.
