RGB camera troubleshooting

Hi everyone!
i have just received a brand new MetroX and cannot make it to work at all… cannot even calibrate it (does not read QR code)
I believe there is some problem with RGB camera (exists in Device manager but does not show any preview in Revo Scan).
I tested this on 2 computers, same result - RGB camera does not show preview, no calibration possible. Scanning using lasers more or less works, but auto turntable mode in color does not work, of course…
I would be grateful for any ideas…

GPU acceleration has nothing to do with RGB camera Full Field or Auto mode. But GPU rendering setting Off could help.

But for scanning in color what is only available under Auto Mode and need to be activated under Auto Mode panel , make sure it is selected and ON , or you will see nothing .

You don’t have to scan QR code to be able to calibrate , just ignore it and move to next step .

If after everything you still have issues with the RGB camera not showing any feedback , please go under your Windows privacy settings and make sure Camera for RevoScan MetroX is active and allowed.

If everything you did and still nothing you will need technical assistance to check out your hardware.

As i said, already tested it. does not work.
i agree it is not necessary to scan QR code, tried to move further and scanner does not react, screens are “frozen”.
Camera is allowed to work with Revo scan and other apps, i do not understand what You mean by “active” because, as i said, there is no preview, even in windows settings screen.
Please explain the procedure of “money back guarantee” because this is not acceptable for me, considering i paid for “worry freee delivery”, but now i should wait for 10 days for impossible repair.

I am just the moderator trying to give you some info to help you out.

By active I mean setting it ON under Auto mode and activate the RGB camera settings other wise it will be blank in the software window and color data will be not captured.

But since you tested and it is not working even under windows then definitely is something wrong with it , and the support will resolve it ASAP

I will leave a note to the team about it on Monday so they check it out hopefully without long waiting .
