I am newbie but technical person and strugging wiith Metro Y Pro and would like to see tutorial on scanning of simple objects like the statue or something simple. Showing settings and Placement of markers and such for each of the modes.
I have good hardware but my results are bad and I not sure that I am doing right.
In main time check MetroX tutorial the workflow is exactly the same and the settings too .. only the hardware is different but the workflow exactly the same it will help you out start .
Yes I seen them, but is there one that goes through the settings. Iplan to go through and document some issue especially on laptop and wireless issues but I want a successful base to start with.
Just remember that your system issues are not everyone’s issues but if you have tips for other new users how to avoid any of them if they encounter them , that would be of course great.
The tutorials are great and one with turntable got me started I did strugle with Santa Clause because of black ares but the Raindeer work. I stilled need to do more than one past.
Today, I will plan to test notebook.
Just to verrify FPS and using usb 3.0 with crosslines
Same Raindeer model test but one more scan for other side
Will try wireless
The concerns I have with laptop, is related to wireless and possibly completely stop. I am not 100% sure the Bios fix the usb issue
Here is photo of black object that I scan and printed last night, if look closely at side of deer, you see the errors - I believe do another scan and not filling hole will fix it. I think the deer is good object to test - Hobby Lobby had them at 50% off
I was able to test on Asus G16 and had better results.
Auto scan mode of same Raindeer work even through NVidia had error during and sent to NVidia.
But the merge deer was better than previous and it seem faster. I did have an error where Revo Metro exit out to desktop which I now believe is related to NVidia driver.
One concern, is that I lost tracking on turntable, and could not sync back.
Maybe support will have setting for log files to help track exiting out. I really want laptop to work for this because it easier for enviorment.
I wonder why ? It don’t use GPU acceleration, Auto mode can work even with Dedicated Intel Graphics in a tablet , it uses the least resources . Talking from my own experiences .
What driver you have in question here ? I used the latest studio and game driver , no issues while testing .
What error you encountered? Screenshot please if you see it next time
When you lose tracking in Auto more that happen sadly , try to increase the mouth of frames , that may help
Structured Light scanner relays heavily on o jet features for tracking , no feature to recognize result in lose tracking , in cases like that switch to market mode if possible or go for Full Field .
