Hello, I have a problem with my MetroX and GPU acceleration. When I am in cross-line mode, I have no image rendered. It works when I disable GPU acceleration. I have an RTX 3080 with the latest version of RevoScan for MetroX. Thank you for your help.

whats CPU ?
Intel Core i7-12700K
You need to disable GPU acceleration rendering
That is the latest option under preference and see how it works
Because I don’t see any distance indicator either in your preview screen
Make sure you have also the latest Nvidia driver installed .
Is that only in Cross line or in both parallel and cross line ?
If the disabling of GPU acceleration rendering still not fix it
Then please contact customer@revopoint3d.com
For technical assistance
And include with the email your video
When testing make sure you have also an object in the scene and not only markers .
I hope that helps
I try to disable gpu acceleration and it’s exactly the same, it’s only work when I switch to cpu acceleration.
No rendering in both cross lines and parallel lines, and I have the last nvidia driver and the recommended settings so I don’t understand ..
I also tried with object in the scene and same issue
What worry me there are not showing any distance parameters on the right side , meaning the scanning do not works even before you pushed the play button .
I think the only thing you have left here is to contact customer@revopoint3d.com
For technical assistance
Because for some reason the GPU is not activated when using Laser modes
My knowledge regarding this issue ends right here .
It may need Firmware update , or other thing , but just my guessing
They will help you out
Yes it’s a weird problem, hopefully i can use my scanner normally by switching to cpu mode, but since i have the recommended configuration i would like to take advantage of the latest update!
Thank you for your help! I sent an email to support.
Yeah it is very strange , anyway in main time please sign up for beta testing out a new Beta RSM software using your card and MetroX
It may give you some resolution maybe
Oh thank you I will test this tomorrow, I will update you here if it’s works or not
I’m back here with a quick update: the issue has been resolved with the help of support. It just required recalibrating the scanner. Hopefully, this can help other users. Have a great day!
Good to know yet that issue makes no sense to me since you never had problems using Feature mode , bad calibration don’t works well in any mode. That why I did not even suggested it, because you said it was ok in Feature mode.
Anyway we learning as we go .. good it was just an easy glitch fix.
