It’s not supposed to, but I have installed the last few versions on my Win 7 Pro machine and it seems to work perfectly.
Revo Studio refuses to install on Windows 7, however.

Revopoint don’t support issues related to Win7 , that what I mean with my reply .
Working for you ? Great
Maybe would be good if you actually help other users in place of adding 5 cent to each of my reply , this is not helpful
You don’t have the Dual Axis but still posting not related out of topic replies that don’t helps anybody . And that is not only my opinion but other users as well .
The firmware upgrade of the test system WN10 is successful. Dual-axis Turntable can be used. It is possible to scan and output the model in 3D. After the upgrade, it is no problem to execute firmware 4.1 on WIIN7 for 3D scanning. Therefore, the camera firmware cannot be upgraded using the WIN7 system. .Thank you all for your help.
That is great to hear @greenjason happy it finally worked for you
@PUTV Thank you for your kind help
To my mind, I am seeing the bigger picture for this forum (where new users are learning from the ground up).

Again, I thought it was on-topic in a bigger picture.
By all means, anyone who has a problem with my posts, please let me know in the Forum or in private messages.
Hello, where is the V4.1.0 for Mac?
The version numbers for the various platforms are not going to align (Android is still in version 3 and iOS is all the way back in version 1.
Unfortunately, the capabilities of each platform’s software are not going to be upgraded at the same time, either.
ok for the version numbers, but are you going to release a new Mac version? in particular, the turntable (not) connession problems many users have found (Windows & Mac), are going to be solved with a new software release for Mac?
Thanks
Same Issue as @greenjason
After upgrad firmware (V4.1.0) on win 7 the revoscan software freeze at “bla~bla~ 30 second” for a hour and dead, after unplug my revo mini ,it won’t be able to link to cellphone and PC in any way
(that why i’m here looking for trouble shooting result, toooooo late)
I don’t have 4.0.4 for testing,
“Press the camera button five times continuously.” didn’t work for me
Dose anyone have same issue?
Look like win10 maybe save my mini or any refresh firmware way to used?
Try pressing the camera button ten times in a row. See if it turns red. It turns blue again. This will change back to the original camera preset.
Upgrading firmware (V4.1.0) using system WIN10…
Thanks @greenjason , it turning red and blue. I’ll try later until grab a win10 PC.
So far it back to work on cellphone.
@Zed the back of the scan LED should be always Green , this indicates it is ready for use .
After refresh to original firmware and use win 10 to upgrade, it already done.
BTW, same software install at Win 7 is allow to scan but not support Dual-axis Turntable, hope one day will support.
Thanks for relpy.
I am running an up-to-date Windows 10, Revo Scan 4.1 and the firmware update is still getting stuck at 20% even after unpluging, reconecting, waiting 30 seconds, Pressing the button 10 times. It is not working. I have requested access to the link for what appears to be a test version of revo scan, but the request hasn’t been accepted yet.
Please download the newest version here: https://www.revopoint3d.com/wp-content/uploads/download/Revo_Scan_for_win_v4.1.0.20220909c.zip
And try to upgrade again. If any problem, please provide a video showing the problem so that we can check it out. Thanks!
I have approved it. Please check it again. Sorry for the inconvenience.
