Suggests shipping on 15th December.
Pretty sure it said 7th December last time I looked. Quietly hopeful it will ship before then for Kickstarters, but going to adjust the expected shipping date in my calendar…
I grabbed a similar machine (and price) from Costco the other day. These Legion 5 laptops are nice! Mine has an i9-14900hx and accepted 96GB RAM. So that should keep things happy for a little while. I was going to wait, but BF managed to get me. It will be nice to have something I can use portable when needed.
If they keep increasing the resolution, I’m going to need an Epyc server with a few hundred GB RAM.

@ttabbal can you check your “resource monitor” to verify you can use all 96? I was under the impression that 64 is the max.

64 is the max they will sell it with. That is usually just due to them getting a good deal when buying huge quantity.
It shows in Windows and memtest86+ passes. Memtest86 writes to every address and verifies that it works.

I was wondering if anyone in the team can verify that shipping starts from 12.15 for retail is the same for those who purchased through Kickstarter?

Any update on the GPU support? Looking forward to mine arriving soon.
As far as I know the GPU support will not be ready in time. I hope it comes in the first quarter of 2025.
