Revo Scan software stuck after starting scan

When I start to scan I notice sometimes it takes a long time (say up to one minute) for scanner to connect.
Sometimes it doesn’t start at all.

When it starts, as you can see in attached gif, software gets stuck with green image and the only way to go on is to exit.

What am I doing wrong?


Bring up Windows Project Manager and look at available memory and CPU utilization while this is happening.

I’ve seen Revo Scan use up to 99% (and that’s with Folding @ Home active, so it is very greedy).

However, if you are nearly maxed out on memory, the time it takes for Swap Files to work could explain the long times you are seeing.
