Problems using POP 4 with wifi

I have been using my Pop 4 with wifi for the past few months and no issues. Now when I connect the scanner and attempt to scan an object, the lasers are very dim and there is no preview even though its enabled, and it does not show the distance of the scanner to the subject. I tried to go back to an older version of Revoscan and got the same result. The only idea I have is the firmware update that I had last week. Any ideas what may be causing this? I hate being tethered to the PC, it makes it harder to get around the items that I am scanning. Everything had been working fine till very recently.

Hi @ImDerpyHooves

So you are saying that she. Using the scanner via USB there are no problems ?

It may be indeed issue after the firmware update , please record short video showing this issue and send it together with the link to this thread to customer@revopoint3d.com for tr hnucsk evaluation .

In the main time you can try to re-calibrate the scanner as I always do after new firmware update, and see uf that help of not.

I completed a re-calibration on Friday, and the app said it wasn’t needed. But I can try it again. I will try to get some footage tomorrow or thursday to show what is happening. Thank you for any and all help.

Hi @ImDerpyHooves

Yes even if it says not needed it is good to recalibrate and refresh it.
