So, I’ve received my Metroy Pro Kit - confirmed it working - and have started optimizing things to get the best user experience out of it including not having to find an outlet for the Turntable which brings me to the concept of powering it via USB from a Power Bank.
From the looks of it the supplied Charger is a 12V2A rated one with an OD 5.5mm / ID 2.1mm Barrel Jack. Would hooking it up to a Power Bank and using a USB-C to Barrel Jack Cable like this one work?
Edit ( since I didn’t want to open another post ):
Can someone clarify the Thread Size of the 4 Thread Inserts situated on the top of the Turntable? I ran under the assumption they’d perhaps be ¼” ones but those don’t fit and M5 - which I had on hand - just slip out soo… Are they perhaps M6?
The turntable looks the same as the one from MetroX package, which does have four 1/4’" screw holes. I bought some 1/4" to M6 converter screws to be able to attach some jigs.
Concerning the ¼” Threads it looks like they’ve changed them to M6 ones for the MetroY Kit as the ¼” Screws I bought for making my own Bar Markers would not fit but a just now purchased M6 Allthread Rod would
