Before I get seriously involved with my MetroX, I decided to go back to my POP2 unit, which I had put away in the closet after getting mighty frustrated. There are some excellent tutorials/videos now available that weren’t back when I got the POP2, so I decided to become at least proficient with the POP2 for small items before delving into the MetroX for the larger items (which is what I really need to scan).
Anyway, I got out my portable turntable and noticed something that I had forgotten about: to turn the unit ON/OFF, you must reach under the top to get to the small switch. This is a real challenge for those of us with big, meaty hands! My solution was to attach a USB ON/OFF switch, which you can get retail on TEMU for about $2.25 USD. My suggestion is for Revopoint to include one of these inexpensive switches on all of their Portable Turntables. You can probably get them in bulk for $1.50 USD. This is something you can add immediately as there is no change necessary to your product - it is simply a USB extension cable with a switch:
Increase the price of the Portable Turntable by whatever it costs you for the switch - I think users would be most appreciative. (And they are available in black as well as white, so you can match the black USB cable included with the turntable.)
