Hi @PUTV
after reading and following more ore less the complete thread here. i think i have a good understanding now, how you work in regards of using Revoscan + additional tools, highly appreciate it. Thanks.
Will try that by my own.
Some questions still outstanding:
- on each screenshot you posted for revoscan i recognised that you are still put the brightness to max. is that correct?
- all your workflows to reach such good results are based on Turntable workflows. Did you tested full body scans without turntables? Because i think with a weight of 130kg its not so easy to use a turntable. i also would try to find a workflow to scan people without this turntable because i need also the possibilty to scan things without such a high effort to setup the location. and thats what revopoint promised in their full body sales videos.
- Do you have ideas how to connect this led light
REVO. VL Rechargeable Mini LED Light – Revopoint 3D
with the revo point scanner? i mentioned in another post that the dimensions are not correct to fit. - Did you already experimented with cross polarization filters?
- i also find it really interesting that you create more or 360° sections of your model with max 300 frames and merge it together in Studio oder Cloudcompare. This could work but in my point of view thats not how the software should work at the end. for me it should be possible to scan as many frames or round i would like to scan in revopoint. Revoscan should detect which points the already have. i dont like solutions to work with 3 other applications to come to a more or good result.
i am also a 3d professional but more in the CAD Direction. i also know a lot of tools to compare clouds, clean it and something like that. but for me POP2 was interesting, because there i thought i have everything in one place but thats not the case.
Highly appreciate also your tip regarding the AESUB Blue 3d SCan spray and the new markers.
it should be possible to get this at the end to an awesome result hopefully.
