PC in a different room from scanner

The spot at my place where I can set my POP scanner comfortably isn’t in the same room as the only PC I have with enough juice for the Revopoint software. Wifi doesn’t seem to cut it either. I could, however, use cpl connectors between the two rooms to carry the signal… is there any way at all to make my scanner go through ethernet? Maybe with a specific adapter?

There is best solution , scan it on your mobile device and process it on your PC

You going to have the same quality

Connecting it to PC in another room will not allow you too see what you are doing .
Yet on your phone or tablet you can see clearly .

Interesting. How about stability during the scanning process? The foot stand is good value.

It is portable scanner , you don’t have to worry about that , any tripod will works or just holding it steady in your hand .

Avoid intense shaking back and worth … or jumping from one area to another , move it steady making sure you don’t losing the tracking .

If you own a 3d printer you can print a handle for it.

I printed this for myself and it works great. Excuse the mess on the picture but i was busy

I use an old phone dedicated to scanning so nobody can interrupt my scanning experience when calling me.

Oh, that’s great! I’ll definitely print that, thank you so much for that tip! The X1C is going to print away no later than today.

Wow, great printer.
Why didn’t i know, you own the best affordable 3d scanner on the planet, why not the best affordable 3d printer as well!!

For convenience i bought a USB3 Cable (micro USB 3) with 90° angle on Amazon. Didn’t find it in a short length so i will try to shorten it manually.
This makes the formfactor much smaller.

My first move was way cheaper. An opportunity came for me to buy an old Anycubic bedslinger but that machine was driving me nuts. After that I decided to go all out. I am very happy with the X1C, as far as FDM printing goes, you can hardly get anything easier to use, especially with the AMS mounted on top. If anything, the maintenance is a bit tricky and I have a squeak I am unable to fix… ah well.
That print gave me an idea. Someone might want to come up with a contraption you can snap the scanner into, that can spin vertically and horizontally, for easy and steady calibration.

Weird, how did you fit the scanner to that handle? The two pieces I found were a handle and a sleeve for the scanner, wich won’t fit in unless I remove something I guess, and nothing to actually affix the scanner part to the handle.

Yeah i unscrewed the quick connector from the range because i was too lazy to alter the design
