Issues with this since the very beginning. every time I have asked for help, I’ve received the most useless information. Then it seemed like instead of fixes, more problems would come up. there was an issue that I didn’t work with Apple computers. I don’t know when that was fixed because I stopped trying to use it. I’ve never been able to connect it by USB to my phone. It’s only been able to connect maybe 20% of the time through Wi-Fi..
And it’s infuriating to see every single advanced version of this for fraction of the price that I paid for Kickstarter. Revopoint came out with the POP2 to almost exactly a year after their first campaign when they hadn’t even fixed any of the problems for that yet.
I had been waiting so long because every time I reached out it didn’t help me. So I forgot about it then I’d find it again and reach out again. Or I’d get another email from Kickstarter. I downloaded the new software. It doesn’t work. And is there new firmware? And what cord are you talking about? The cord that came with it? See what I mean everything you are saying is so vague. Give me like links or something. Don’t assume i have extensive knowledge here.
I don’t have idea what package you baked on KS as I don’t have any access to that information .
But the cable I was talking about is this one
USB A going to battery power bank and USB C to your phone , that’s how you connect POP to your phone .
There are no new firmwares because POP version don’t have that function build in. Only the Technical team can update it for you if there is need.
Remember POP also use wireless connection by creating mobile hot spot on your phone and not regular WiFi connection like POP2 and the rest of the scanners that came after.
I don’t have any manual under my hand as I stopped using it 4 years ago , but the customer service will help you out with this.
