Optimizing NVIDIA GeForce R: Tips & Tricks

Hi everyone,

I wanted to open up a discussion about tuning NVIDIA GeForce R cards for the best performance with Metrox.

Have you tried adjusting your GPU settings for smoother scanning or faster processing? Things like:

  • Overclocking or undervolting

  • Custom fan curves or cooling tweaks

  • Driver settings or profiles

  • Any stability vs performance trade-offs you’ve noticed

It would be great if we could share our experiences and tips here—what worked, what didn’t—so we can all get the most out of our NVIDIA cards.

i am using:

**> GPU :**GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER

**> Memory Size :**12GB GDDR6X

**> Boost Clock Speed :**2655

**> CUDA :**7168

Works best with CAD software, for the money. I also have RTX Quadro A4000, Works well too, cost was 3k. We also tweak the NVidia control panel 3D settings base profile for max power and Speed.

Also tweak the powershell at the CMD, with a developed command line that diverts all power to the processor and video card.

Processing massive scans in 2 minutes or less…
