I used to use the Miraco as a standalone scanner but now I would like to scan medium size objets at home. I know that I can use the miraco with the PC software using a USB cable, but I will need a really long one for moving arround the object during scanning. It will be interesting for future firmware updates to be able to connect it via wifi for realtime scanning.
MIRACO is s standalone device , it was not designed to be used via WiFi for scanning on your PC , there are other scanners just for that .
There is completely zero reason to scan on PC direct via MIRACO the quality of the capture is the same .
Just process your projects on PC
And there will be not updates for that either .
Sorry … get yourself a 12ft good USB 3 thunderbolt cable and use together with powered USB 3 hub for best results .
