I’m trying to scan this vase but I can’t, I put several markers but it tells me to add more, in addition to this problem, but it’s normal that in the little that I managed to scan you can also see the markers and other points even a hole
First and most obvious question is are you sure you are in marker mode? Are you scanning in near or far mode? Markers need to have specific spacing and the scanner needs to see so many markers at a time to maintain tracking. I forget what the actual number and spacing is. My guess is you are in near mode and it cant see enough markers. You could try far mode, you should have plenty on there for that.
You can use global markers to capture all your marker positions and then scan in far to get the overall shape and near to capture details. You will always see holes in your scan where the markers are. What is the end goal of your scan? For reverse engineering it usually isn’t an issue to have the holes.
Thanks for the reply,
Yes, I’m in marker mode and I tried both near and far (far is even worse), if I remember correctly there should be at least 6 markers and it even sees more at the same time but the area becomes all red and says to increase the markers, I still don’t know how to use global markers, the goal is to clone the vase and then print it in 3D, however I had less trouble scanning the sofa ahahah

Of course you get holes and surfaces that are not even , you need to use that scan and reconstruct the vase, that is the proper workflow here.
Or use a bigger turntable and add additional elements around without using markers, I don’t think it would give you much issues .
Simple objects are difficult to scan because they are easy to model and vice verse.
