Nice scans! The surround style marker holders look like they would work real well. Do they and if so would you mind sharing some info on them or where you got them? They look printed. Thanks.

Here is the link to the markers I have printed.
They work well

Thanks! Much appreciated.

I thought using a mixture of markers sizes was a no no in Revoscan?

Apparently not for me

I think the issue arises when you put markers on the part. The software treats the 3mm like a 6 in the marker cleanup. If you have markers on the area you are deleting anyways it shouldn’t matter

I use mixture of different sizes markers without issue.
The size doesn’t matter, the placement in unique pattern and distance do.
How bigger the FOV how bigger the distance between should be and vice versa.

That are excellent scan results @Proschi3D well done ! Thanks for sharing !

Impressive for sure. Well done.
I’ve been trying multi color Lego kits and all failed. Red and Black bricks don’t scan well. I can spray it and it comes out nicely, but w/o spray I’ve not had good luck.

I’ll try to scan colorful legos.

You should use for those colors the same settings like for dark surfaces, red colors absorb Blue light same for yellow and green. It needs stronger exposure settings.
In cases where different color combination is present, you should switch to laser mode as it handles it better.

I scanned it in cross-line and shiny object.
It’s even better but didn’t have much time
