MetroX Auto Turntable Error

I had one really successful auto turntable scan, but the second one started misaligning frames. Any idea what could cause this?

Hi! Can it be Metrox is scanning something past the turntable that is stationary? If so, adapt the scanning range so only the object on the turntable is in the range.

As Ivan already mentioned , if you have anything stationery that do not move with , it can confuse the alignment of the single shot .
If you don’t use marker mode, cover the top with something in one color and make sure nothing else is captured outside the top area .
Give the turntable some free space .

Did you let the turntable tilt? The object (horse? pig?) looks like it could easily slide on the turntable surface, which would cause that to happen. Try scanning the same object again but stick the object to the turntable with some blue-tack so that it can’t move.

It was at 0 tilt, and didn’t move visibly, but I will try that in the future. I think the scan distance setting mentioned above needed adjustment, but I don’t really understand why the software attempts to place the scans in anything other than a circle in when in auto turntable mode.

(Even though it isn’t visible here, the camera icons started to fall out of alignment randomly)
