Mesh orientation in post processing of Revo SW

Does Revo SW has mesh orientation features ?
what I mean is that after scanning we do have processing fused then meshed. during the time I want to set origin point of X/Y/Z and each direction for the result.

I hear that competitor’s software has those features during the post process, for exampe,

  • set XY plan and Z axis,
  • set X direction and Y direction

That would be an awesome feature to have. now I make my own planes in mesh files after importing them in Solidworks. this would make life much easier!

Hi!

No, it isn’t implemented yet but surely will be at SOME point as it is on the wish&request list for long time now. In thr meantime one can import the model in a 3d slicer and orient it there and resave it or use some sometimes more precise methods using other software (like fusion360).
