Lip missing after 3d print

i scanned the model successfully, but i don’t know how to print it out as it looks like in the model. The lip is gone and the interior which should be empty, but it is solid now on a print

I can’t see the picture you uploaded, can you repost it again , post it by itself without typing below it ,as it removed the code .

this is what its supposed to look like i dont have a original as like the pic but just a scan of the door panel

also the underside is brown not like the top blue

Yes this type of objects needs supported objects around for tracking or use marker mode with markers around it .

Feature mode will not scan objects without features , as it need to keep tracking .
I recommend you put some small elements around , I use printed cubes and place around the object to scan it

If you scan the door panel you will need a markers not so close to each other around 3-4 cm apart in unique pattern.

The insert would be much easier to scan .. that is the workflow here .
