I happen to scan an object on a plate that is always black and the part of the object is always not uniform as in the photo, is it possible to overcome this problem or do I need to use post production software

Are you saying that when you scan an object with flat edges using MIRACO, placed on a black plate, you’re seeing these jagged edges in the scan results?
Would you be able to take a picture of your scanned object for us to see?
You get edges like that if you do not captured it completely , the parts are missed , you need to capture the full end of the object if possible .
You can also trim it with the tools on the right side .

Personally, I find scanning edges the most difficult, especially with thin objects.

Sadly there is nothing I can help you here with.
The Algorithms are response for that beside the fine edges.
If you are not able to get the whole edges you get what you got, I tried everything but there is not trick to solve it .
