I’m using a MIRACO scanner, trying to scan a 6’2" wind turbine blade that’s 3D printed from multiple parts. However, I’m unable to get a good scan because some of them are black and the part in general is very shiny. Whenever I try to merge two parts, I get a weird result. Can you please give me any tips about this?
You need to make them not black and shiny. Try using 3d scanning spray, foot powder spay, baby powder, corn starch, or chalk. This will make it easier for the scanner to pick up.
Spray foot powder. The 3D scanning sprays are expensive and no better than foot powder.
