Is the Quadro RTX5000 Blackwell supported? Looking at a new laptop and it has this GPU.
I would think the answer is yes, but wanted to check.
**edit, with the MetroY Pro

Hi Robin , the developers did not yet tested the card in question , sorry but I can’t provide you with more info about .
I don’t see reason why not , the driver is still the same and it is most important to make it works
Well, Dell can’t fix the screwup they made when their tech replaced a heatsink in my machine and damaged it so that it’s overheating and throttling down significantly.
Good news is they are replacing my 3yr old 12th gen machine with a brand new one w/ a Ultra 9 285HX. Yeah!
They will not let me upgrade memory or gpu, I offered to pay for the upgrade and they refused, boo.
But I’m going from a quadro a4500 16 GB to a quadro blackwell 4000 16 GB. Which should be a lot faster as the Blackwell chipset is a significant jump from Ampere…if it’s supported.
Should be this driver: NVIDIA RTX Driver Release 595
Can we confirm or deny if the nVidia RTX Blackwell 4000 with the 595 (or prior) driver is GPU supported by Revopoint MetroY Pro?
Hi Robin , only the RTX 30 series to 40 series with latest driver was used for testing , none of the Blackwell series was tested yet
hmmm…what’s the procedure for getting them tested?
Throwing out old equipment and buy new one
just kidding
Most of the office laptops don’t have the newest graphic cards as it is not yet nesesery for optimal performance .
How do I become a tester for them and lend a hand in this process?
I see a lot of people being turned off by lack of quadro support. I know we’ve had this discussion and are not in agreement, but quadro’s are pro level graphics cards used by many who do CAD and should not be ignored by a company who is seeking to make pro level scanners and software to run it.
I’m willing to help
Robin , currently there is no position for this kind of internal beta testing , but if you want to help out in your free time , we can set up our PM thread where you can post your results using your quadro cards , that I can forward directly to my team for evaluation.
I talked about that to my team and they said that would be a good idea. So if you are into it , you are more than welcome.
sounds good. I’m willing to lend a hand.
Dell says it’ll be may 11 before the new one ships, I’m pushing them do do it faster.
Maybe we can get some baselines with what I have.
PM me with your system specifications and you can start with what you use now .
Starting with statements like the speed of the frames etc .
Got my new laptop, it’s FAST!
i9 285HX with 64GB of 6400Mt/s RAM and a nVidia Blackwell 4000 gpu. It’ll have a Samsung 9100 Pro drive too soon as Amazon delivers it.
Scanned a little last night to test it out. First up with Dell’s vid driver was a fail, but I loaded the latest from nVidia and it worked perfectly after that.
I’m tickled.
