I am running my Inspire on an Android tablet (Teclast P30, 4GB physical RAM, 6GB virtual RAM), which worked well for more than a year, but now won’t work at all. The exposure windows now have a delay of about 30 seconds - ie if I put my hand in front of the scanner it appears immediately on the main window, but doesn’t appear on the exposure windows for about 30s. At the same time the tablet RAM is filling until it hangs after 2-3 minutes, before even starting a scan. If I start a scan, the tablet RAM fills in about 300 frames. All of this behaviour is new and is the same on wifi or with the cable (although the tablet has only USB 2.0). The scanner works on my PC and on 2 separate phones (both 4GB RAM) with no time delay or filling RAM. Revopoint have been helpful but say they haven’t seen this before. Has anyone seen this behaviour or got any suggestions please?
I should add my Inspire has a problem with its exposure window, where half the window is unstable (exposure level constantly changing) when it is first plugged in and it can take 10 mins to stabilise - but once stable it scans OK on the PC and phones.
