In the last picture the scanner looks too far away.
There are still some bugs in the software, which surely will be resolved. 1-2 times Iexperienced projector not projecting the lines, only casting brighter blue light. I unplugged the cable from the back of metrox , inserted it back again and waited couple seconds for MetroX to reconnect. The lines were projected again - of course, I needed to be in marker mode. I wonder if maybe that’s the problem here.
Restart the Pc, restart MetroX and maybe make a video of what you do. That would help a lot in understanding your problems and in helping you out.
