I can’t scan anything on my laptop properly. The software says 60 frames, but in fact there are zero!

If I manage to capture a few points, then when mixing programs, it removes most of them. Version 5.6.6.
The tracking of the tags constantly crashes, and the range indicator does not work, or shows with a huge delay. I connected the scanner to the USB-C port. I bought it on Kickstarter. This is my 4th scanner bought on Kickstarter. And again, nothing works properly. I really want to return it back to the developer.
This should not work this way so there is speed issue between the scanner and your system .

My MetroX is fast and don’t do that anymore as it did in your video , but what I did was removing the old software manually before installing new one , and after that calibrated the MetroX using the new software and issue fixed itself .
Make sure your USB is 3.0 at least .
If the tip above don’t works , just contact technical support .
In the video it looks like your holding it way too far away.
Set the scan distance to 400mm, the scanner will only see markers this as far as the acan distance. For training take a ruler to get a feeling for the distance.
When getting too far away it shows the last seen markers

You didn’t read my review. The range sensor didn’t work in this video. It took about 2 hours to set it up behind the scenes. I know what I’m talking about.
I said nothing about the system , just the software once you have new version reinstall it manually then install new version and recalibrate once !
You don’t need to reinstall the system unless you have other issues with it but not really related here.
Keeping up with the graphic driver is also important and with your system you should not really have any issues .
In place of getting mad at it just contact the customer service to check on your device to make sure it works proper. They will find exactly what is going on.
If you use laser mode you need at least 8K of frames to be captured for getting the smooth surface per scanned angle.
With Full Field you get the same with just 360 frames and very smooth results.
Don’t use the Fusing settings at the highest as your currently object don’t require that settings 0.2 or 0.1 mm is more than enough , then after clean it from overlapped and lose points and mesh with the same Grid settings as your fusing settings for best results .
In general improvement of laser mode and better angle of marker detection .
There is not exactly size for larger objects but usually bigger than 7 inches to 3 feet
Where small are around 30 mm
