I am a new user pop 3 plus

I bought a new pop 3 plus device and I am trying to scan car hubcaps but I haven’t been able to find a proper image for 3 days.The image keeps scrolling, I’ve tried everything.

Welcome! You need to provide more information. Just saying “I can’t scan” doesn’t give us any information to help you. A picture of your setup would be helpful. A hub cap is pretty symmetrical, so you will need to use some markers to be able to recognize it. A scrolling image usually means that the scanner is trying to find and lock onto features but it cannot.

The image keep scrolling because you don’t have enough features that are needed with 3D structured scanners to keep tracking , it is not the scanner just the wrong approach.

In case there are not enough features closer together , you can changed the mode for Markers to keep proper tracking to avoid the scan to glide out .

Sorry my friend but that are the Structured light scanning rules that can’t be avoided.

When using markers the scanner skip tracking the object features and use the markers instead as features , make sure they are closer enough together and in unique not symmetrical pattern .
Just don’t forget to change the settings for Marker Mode.
