I had a mk4s with mmu3 and decided to get another I had them build it this time though. I myself am a Prusa fanboy also.
i ordered on the 8th of sept, metro Y pro, i’m based in Australia and have seen no notifications or correspondence yet. I was actually concerned it may have been a scam when i saw the dates changing on the website, but i guess there was just delays?

Your shipment will go out in first days of October , probably not late than October 9 with the second batch .
The national Holidays in China are taken serious , logistics don’t work either .

First the typhoon, told ships 29th, now its a Chinese holiday. Customer Service told me my order isnt shipping until the 9th now. I am in the second batch of Pro Y shipments. While this isnt great for us I understand its just a coincidence those two events are happening back to back and they deserve the holiday week off.
Im just posting to update people. Revopoint should at least say on the website that the holiday is causing delays, it still says ships on the 29th as of now on the Metro Y product page, that is confusing people for sure. I can totally see why some people may see this in a bad way. Updating that will save you from getting customer service calls and emails like mine because we are just curious what is going on when shipping dates dont line up to what is posted. They did respond right away though to let me know this. (less than 24 hour response time, thank you!)
The holiday is Golden Day, sounds great and I wish we did stuff like that in the US. Have an awesome week off!

Not exactly, like I mentioned they had a typhoon. That shut the city down for a few days, so obviously that isnt their fault. The National holiday also going on at the same time isnt the companies fault either. Many companies target holidays as release dates so people can go enjoy the thing they just bought, they just had an unfortunately timed typhoon. My guess is the person who updates the site is just already on holiday, because if you email them they will tell you what I just told you, they arent hiding the shipping date, they told me my shipping date and shipping batch and the reason for it. Ive had much worse customer service from American companies.
Also if I went online looking up a product and I find a bunch of posts about people not knowing when it would ship, that would be a greater deterrent for buying than if they just posted exactly whats going on. Transparency gives people confidence in the company. If they posted the real date it would probably boost their sales numbers not tank it.

Nobody lie about anything , if not the typhoon it would go out much early .
Logistics team and warehouses was shut down and people evacuated from the area.
Shipping started on 29 and they shipped thing out as much they can .
I got shipped only one order and the second order will be shipped after the holidays .
National holidays in China are not negotiable, the logistics don’t works either so no packages getting out .
Next time just pay full price and all the import tariffs and get your stuff on time next day from Amazon. It may be double expensive but at least no complain.

I disagree, how many other scanners offer wireless scanning at this precision & speed, with the various modes and feature tracking?

Yeah the web team is on holidays so no web updates , only the Customers Service is still working 24/7 and it is international so not direct from China but from other offices across the world .

But the truth is , even if I had to wait another month , I still saved myself a nice amount of dollars…
Now if I have to pay full price of MetroY PRO + 50 % import tax + 3 days shipping , the final price to pay would be not even worth it.
So the deal was sweet ! You can’t deny it ! At least for us American customers.
My second Inspire 2 order seems like a free add-on …
BTW the shipment already passed the customs , wow DHL in one day compared to UPS in 20 days , what a difference.
Looks like it may arrive 1 day early by tomorrow.

Just arrived 1 day early , DHL did amazing job again !
Original box was opened by the DHL/Customs for security purposes, but the original scanner package was not opened and plastic was originally sealed.
I like the black color of the MetroY PRO case compared to the silver aluminum that MetroY standard is delivered.
