I’ve ordered a Metroy pro which don’t ship until the 20th. The Metroy was supposed to start shipping on the 10th so was wondering if there are any units in the wild yet. Looking forwards to some real world results.
Sadly my special and only Beta unit of MetroY in USA is stuck by the UPS customs for 13 days already .. so the answer is not yet, we see what we can do .. however MetroY laser mode components are almost the same as Trackit minus the tracker so it is pretty great .
The shipping will start on it short after 20th .

Don’t worry , it is for the first time in 3 years , probably isolated issue by the Carrier.

Apparently, I can’t post anything to my friends in Dallas, TX, from Australia right now; they said only letters to US of A I think other freight companies are o,k just Auspost
Yeah I had also a A4 later parcel from Berlin it took 2 weeks in place of 3 days. The bottleneck is too great at this moment. Just got letter from UPS asking to wait until things resolve. The DHL stopped currently shipping to USA until things clear up probably around October 14th.
sort of mind-blowing, isn’t it? I live in a rural part of Australia, and I needed a part for a CNC system I’m fixing for a friend. I ordered it from Guangdong on Friday lunchtime, and on Tuesday at 3 pm it arrived, but I can’t send a small box to some friends

Yeah if you send it to USA it will be delayed for weeks by the customs.
The only negative thing about it is that when you pay $100-200 dollars for small shipping that should arrive in 3 days and it don’t , nobody give you back the money you wasted on that fast shipping , despite money back guarantee.
My tracking stopped updating on Friday after 14 days delay. Hopefully it don’t get lost in this chaos.
@tokyopav this issue is only in the USA , it do not affect any other country.

Aren’t they shipping from a warehouse in the US

That really don’t matters anymore for US customers . Unless the product is made somewhere else than China where import tax are lower.
The law was changed in May this year and not so good for us American customers.
Mine was supposed to get here this Friday, but I just found out it hasn’t even shipped yet. No idea when it’ll actually go out now.

My beta MetroY unit was 20 days by the USA customs and was paid for a 3 days express , they are bottlenecked so badly moving everything so slow because of the tarrifs.
The USPS is totally paralyzed not accepting anything from outside USA and returning all letters and packages back to senders.
I know next week shipping starts already for pre-orders … but getting it on time will be a challenge for USA customers.
Have they started shipping? I have no tracking number yet.
They start shipping next week.
The office is closed until Monday.
The pre order was extended until Sept.22

I just spotted tokyopav’s post asking about MetroY shipments and thought I’d start a thread for the MetroY Pro so we can perhaps see when they starting to land in certain regions. I recall a similar thread for a gaming handheld I bought years ago and the community had lots of fun creating useless spreadsheets in an attempt to predict when people might get their unit based on when they pre-ordered and where they were - with some small level of accuracy!
Anyway, if you say when you preordered and where you are in the world, and then come back and drop a message, with the same info + when you received it, I think it would be interesting for people waiting.

I did see on the product page it now says Ships from Sept. 29.
I’m hoping that’s for new orders and that release hasn’t been delayed.
