Cant get the scan to show up in the software

Not sure where to start, this is my first scanner. Trying to scan the included head with no luck. Laser works but nothing shows up in the application. Tried different scans etc. Am I missing something obvious?

Please try this method:

  1. Click Preference in the upper right corner of the software.

  2. Click “General”, uncheck “Enable GPU accelerated rendering”, and then reopen the software to see if the problem still exists.

Has your issue been resolved?

No, that did nothing. I’ve never gotten anything to show up in the software. I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled, changed computers, messed with settings, nothing is letting me scan things.

The scanner seems to be working, there are lasers coming out but nothing shows on the scan. Is there a way to return this?

It is mac, you cannot run as an administrator and I already have superuser status

Contacted customer support, zero replies. This is a huge waste of money

How about finding a friend or family member with a windows pc and asking to try out the scanner on their computer to make sure it isn’t the actual scanner that is the issue. My old 8gb ram laptop runs the full field ok. So it doesn’t take anything special.
