Both the battery and the impact driver were scanned in black object modes. It really does help.
I have a Logitech MX Master here at my desk. I’ll do a scan for you later today.

Here’s a tough one. A Logitech MX Master mouse. Shiny silver underneath with very shiny mouse pads. Dark grey on top with shiny accents. Black rubber on the wheels. I would not normally scan this without spray due to the different contrasts and the shininess. MetroX managed. It’s a little noisy but is a good example of what can be achieved with zero prep. And here it is in full field mode. Not a great scan and not something I would normally use to show off. Scanned in full-field mode. No spray. 3 scans that were merged. No cleanup other than isolated points.
I had to scan at gain 6 to capture the shiny and dark areas and this caused a lot of noise. It’s still OK and perfectly useable, just not very pretty.
