That was designed this way, it needs to be maximized while scanning and processing for best performance .

Should I close the Taskmanager windows, when I use Revo Scan x? Because the taskmangaer windows is set up to be in foreground.

You need to close or minimize the Task Manager and maximize the Revo software .
