First and most important
We need to be able to have an option to save our project on mobile devices so we can fuse the scans later on computer to save time while on the way .
That’s all I am missing at this moment .
I don’t need turntable as I have it already but I need the option for saving my projects , it would make it truly portable .
Thank you Selina , there is lots of users that wish for the same so not just me . I think one of the most important feature that is still missing .
Thank you in advance !
I don’t understand the meaning. In mobile scan, there is Share button, you can export your 3d models to another application, and if you don’t want to Share, you can find it somewhere in your Android or iOS phone.
Or I have some mistakes in what you are suggesting.
Greetings, apart from what PopUpTheVolume commented, I would like you to dedicate more time to the topic of textures, I usually use the android application and the textures are not valid for me. It would also be interesting to be able to configure point fusion and mesh creation in this application. with the latest update for android the mesh appears more grainy, so I’m using the old one. Thanks.
Hi @Calinda on the mobile app you can share the model, textures and the fused point cloud .
What I meant was to share the whole project so you can fuse it in Revo Scan on your computer with better quality and not waste time fusing it on your phone as it take too long , you can just scan it and fuse later .
Right now your can’t adjust the fusing settings , so when you use MINI the fusing point cloud is lower than you can get on computer .
Sometimes when you touch the screen everything vanishing and you lose your scan .
Mobile devices do not save the whole projects and the quality is very low for the meshes , because mobile devices don’t have enough processing power or RAM to handle the job
@Osesol the new version fixed the texture mapping , but if you want better quality of the textures it can’t be done with the level of quality the mesh is generated . It is too low .
I do agree POP2 meshes have more grains not only on mobile apps but also on the computers , it is not as smooth as it was before because the fusing algorithms changed and I am not so happy about that changes , Mobile software had the best point fusion algorithms before , but now it creates too many noises resulting in orange skin like effect .
Good morning to all folks.
My suggestion is add a driven large object function where you put object measure and app drives you in scanning for each part of the obj.
A simple Pause or stand by mode in revoscan for the MINI scanner that turns off the blue light and cameras, but not disconnect USB.
Unit gets quiet hot if left on while working in REVOSCAN.
