Updates to the MIRACO firmware

Every update of Mirraco worsens the scanning quality. The latest version V1.1.0.239 is terrible! The main reason is the low quality of the point clouds; the distance between points has increased, the resolution has decreased, and the minimum focus range has also been reduced to 120.
If you agree with me, write about it here. If adding any new features to MIRACO limits its performance and quality during scanning, I am ready to give it up. Let it be slow, but more accurate!!!

I am currently disappointed with the scanner; before, I could scan small detailed objects, like an M10 bolt, and see the threads. Now I can’t achieve that, the result is very coarse. And I am sure that the issue lies with the latest firmware of the device. The earliest versions provided super excellent images

How can I revert to an older firmware version? V1.0.2.176 or even lower.

Hi @Flame

For that you would need to contact customer@revopoint3d.com
I can’t help you what that here .

Reversing firmware requires to make appointment with the technical support as that is little complicated process .

It is possible that your update did not go well , since beside the distance I do not experience anything else and my MIRACO actually perform much better after including the new features . I always scan my coin to see if anything improved and there was no difference in the quality in my case .

It is possible they need to check the hardware .
I would suggest you prepare the scan of the bold to show the difference between firmwares if you think that is what happened.
It would make easy for them to determine the issues .

I moved your thread to customer support .
