Transfer from phone keeps failing

I’m working with the Inspire 2 and did some scans with my phone. I’d like to merge them on the PC but whenever I try to transfer it fails.

On the PC I’ve tried Revometro and Revoscan 5, both with the QR code and the number code. The phone asked laptop are definitely on the same Wifi. I have the latest app on my phone and I’ve tried restarting the phone. Any suggestions?

I can only advise you to try connecting your phone to your computer with a regular USB cable.

Just copy the project folder or projects to your computer via USB first from your phone and never open them directly from your phone . It works much faster to download them.

To be honest I did not imported any new projects yet from the latest updated software . I will try to see if there is an issue and report it.

To resolve the issue with transferring scans from your phone to the PC, first ensure that both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Check for updates on both the Revometro and Revoscan apps, as outdated versions can cause issues. If the problem persists, try restarting both devices, clearing the app cache, or temporarily disabling any firewall or antivirus software that may be blocking the transfer.

Done, done & done and still doesn’t work..!! Even had a video call with tech support and they couldn’t get it to work! The software is broken, also the USB to phone still doesn’t work and all this was reported over a month ago!!

The USB connection is still not working via the phone , that is true .

But I just import the projects from the phone direct to my computer via USB , faster and without struggle. I never liked the Wi-Fi imports anyway.

Fair enough where on the phones storage does the software store the images..???

That are not images , that are a full project files that need to be copied first to your computer then open as project in Revo Scan on your computer

RevoScan stores project files on your Android phone in a specific folder: /Android/data/com.revopoint3d.revoscan/files/RevoScan/project/
