Trackit : wall mount for tracker

Hi everyone,

Hopefully a community manager or someone from trackit reads this.

When not scanning a large part or out of office, I’d like to wall mount the tracker to have a “scan station”.

Example of this setup can be seen on videos about Revopoint CES booth:

Someone from Revopoint told me you’re not selling this mount but that you could maybe share the informations and plans on how you made it.
That would be awesome and probably more people from the community can benefit of it?

Hi @pixelghost

You can use any camera or projector wall mount to do it .

Just example

Make sure the thread is bigger ,1/4 is too small but you can get 3/8 female adapter

Remember the distance between the scanning station ( scanner ) and tracker need to be no less than 1.5 m or you will get very narrow tracking window where you can move your scanner around scanning objects .

There are many types you can use as projector wall/ celling mount just search online / Amazon

I just sent you as an example .
