This type of scanning is being used in the more classic structured light scanners incapable of continuous scanning but I think it could offer better and less noisy results in some cases with the Pop, and maybe even improve the textures.
So instead of dealing with 2000 frames and having to wait 10 minutes for fusion to complete you’d have 50-200 frames and faster processing too.

I watched the video. You pretty much have to wait for 10 minutes for the turntable to make one revolution while pausing for each individual scan.
