Stick on Markers

I was an early bird backer who didn’t see the Advanced option, so as the MetroX arrived, I’d thought I’d CAD up and 3D print some embedded magnet 3D markers for the supplied stickers.

I’ve noticed on applying them that the reflective dots aren’t concentric (printing shift) with the black surround. As I didn’t have any matt black filament, I used a grey very similar in colour to the reflective dots.

My question does concentricity of the marker dots matter? or is the black area just to improve scanning contrast in the software?

I have seen the same thing. The scanner doesn’t seem to care. I think it’s just for contrast.
