I have already written about this behavior of the program (and it is present in both versions 5.6.4 and 5.6.5). So far, the only working way to get around this problem is to run the program before connecting the scanner.

For now and always , start the software first , then connect the scanner after.
It works better for all Revopoint scanners this way.
