MetroX : Connected but no farther step on software

All basic setup and physical connection has been done and the software shows MetroX connected.

However, could not start further function such as calibration or start new project. because the main software keep shows failed to connect scanner or try to reconnect continuously.

What can I do ?

The software seems fine. The scanner has successfully connected as well. Are you unable to scan when you click on “+New Project”? What kind of prompt does the software display?

Do you encounter this issue every time you click on calibrate? Are you consistently unable to calibrate successfully?

Okay, is this the software prompt for trying to create a new project? That means you never could get to that step of the scan.

We suspect there is an issue with the cable connection. MetroX requires the computer’s USB port to be at least USB 3.0.

The software connection information also indicates that it is USB 3.0.

Please try using a different USB port to see if this issue persists.

I just heard that our customer service team was able to help you with this issue, which is great.

If you’re experiencing a similar issue, here’s how you can resolve it:

  1. Search for “Camera” in your computer settings and open it, click “Settings”.

  2. Adjust the two options as shown in the picture below.

If this does not solve your problem, please contact us again.

This has been solved by turn on the both camera setting system wide on windows.

Now I can start to try
