Scanning view application

I’m using an old version (read 2.7.9) of handyscan on my Microsoft surface and that is because when scanning you can see the object in the background of the app. With newer version you only see the part of the object that you scanned. Is there a way to change the “view”?

You can always see the preview in all versions .
It is in the right low corner you can change the view .
There are 3 icons .

The first icon ( 3 colors) is for view color when scanning in color, the second is for the preview, and the last one( home) is to set the preview in the middle
